SoulBounce: I’ve seen your social media, looks like you’ve been jet setting everywhere.

Janine and the Mixtape: Yeah, it’s been pretty amazing.

SB: That’s fabulous, just like your single "Hold Me" was featured on VH1's Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. How did that feel?

JATM: That was amazing, I’ve just been so blown away by the response from everybody as well.

SB: And do you watch the show?

JATM: We don’t usually get the show in New Zealand but I’ve watched a little bit obviously now and I’m such a big fan of what they’ve done to help my career.

SB: Awesome! So if you had a reality show, what kind of shenanigans would you be up to?

JATM: My reality show would just be based on probably making music and playing basketball and eat[ing] lots of great food.

SB: What kind of food would you be eating?

JATM: I love Mexican food, and I love Japanese and yeah, I just love food in general.

SB: And you said you’d be playing basketball?

JATM: Yeah, I love playing basketball. It’d just be the normal day-to-day stuff. It would be a cross between music, going to the beach, eating food, hanging out with friends and playing basketball.

SB: Okay, so no scandals?

JATM: No, no scandals. I think people would get kind of bored because it’d just be my friends making fun of each other all day.
