Congratulations to Jhené Aiko, who celebrated the release of her debut album, Souled Out, on Tuesday. To promote the new release, Ms. Aiko took to the stage in California for ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! to deliver a performance of her latest single, "The Pressure." It was a much more subdued set than the last time she appeared on Jimmy Kimmel's show with Common for "Blak Majic," but the chanteuse still managed to captivate the audience with the soulful song about the toll the pressures of life can take on a relationship.
Despite the rather heavy subject matter of the song, Jhené was all smiles as she looked gorgeous in a patterned crop top and sheer, flowing white skirt that matched the singer's laid-back Cali demeanor. It also matched the easy, breezy vocal she delivered as she and the live band delivered a performance pretty damn close to what's heard on the record.
