Take A Bite Of Sway Clarke II’s ‘Tangerine’

Singer Sway Clarke II is definitely a budding new artist to watch. The Berlin-based vocalist has written songs for an array of artists and musicians since his days in Toronto, where he was raised. About a year ago, Sway made his official debut with "I Don't Need Much," a honest and relatable track about the simple life. Since then, he released the candid single, "Secret Garden," which is a clever, tongue-in-cheek song about infidelity.

It is easy to draw comparisons to Sway's sound with artists such as Miguel and Frank Ocean thanks to his effortless blend of R&B, hip hop and indie pop. You can hear this on his newest single, "Tangerine," which samples an ambient melodic groove by music producer Tycho. The atmospheric, chillwave vibe of the music perfectly fits the earnest tone of Sway's voice as he recalls a nostalgic love.

There is no word yet on when we will get an EP or full album from Sway Clarke II, but we will keep our ears open. Until then, get to know Sway right here by pushing play.
