Chrisette Michele is making good use of her downtime between seasons of R&B Divas: Los Angeles and will be releasing a new project soon. How soon? Well, Monday, November 24th to be exact is the release date for her EP, The Lyricists' Opus.
We first heard about this project during the second season of R&B Divas: Los Angeles, and it's coming to fruition sooner than we thought but will be right on time for the holidays. And Chrisette looks as pretty as a present on the album cover, which she unveiled today. Rocking a floral frock, long auburn braids and a face beat to the gods, the singer/songwriter radiates beauty and power.
In addition to the gorgeous cover, Chrisette also gave fans a sneak peek at the music video for the song "Together." With photographer-turned-director Derek Blanks behind the camera, we briefly see shots of Chrisette singing mixed in with scenes of a ballet dancing couple. Ms. Michelle is quite fetching, as usual, and the ballet dancers enhance the romantic mood of the song. We'll be looking out for the complete visuals to get the whole experience. We'll also be looking out for Chrisette to hit the road on The Opus Tour, which kicks off in San Francisco on January 22, 2015.
