Newlywed Jessie Ware is still caught up in the rapture of wedded bliss (having married her beau Sam Burrows this past August), and the British chanteuse wants to share her love with the world. What better way than with a video for the song "You & I (Forever)," taken from her album Tough Love?
The music video starts with a quote, presumably from Ware, that reads, "For me, 'You & I Forever' is celebrating the person you love being by your side. This is what it means to others..." Jessie shares screen time with people of all ages, races, genders and sexual orientations in grainy footage of everyone posing for the camera in a photo booth. There are children, families, friends, husbands, wives, lovers, couples and individuals on display and even a brief cameo from co-writer Miguel. Jessie Ware sings while they ham it up and share special moments, and she joins in on the fun and frolicking when her husband joins her.
Contrasting with the shenanigans happening inside the photo booth, is full color footage from outside of a rather stoic Ware just sitting there. Apparently all the action happens when the curtain closes.
