Brady Watt aka the blond bassist enlists the help of Melanie Fiona's vocals for his latest single "Natural." The obviously bass-heavy track has a soulful center and an R&B case thanks to Fiona. The single is the first to come from Watt's debut album LIFETRONICS, which is scheduled to be released February 12th. In the easy-going single, Fiona sings "Like the summer turns into fall / I'll answer when you call / There's nothing synthetic about this love at all / So natural." While Fiona sings about love, Watt plays with our heart strings every time he plucks his bass.
Watt not only shines on the single but made the perfect choice in featuring Fiona on the track since we've been missing the Canadian songstress on our playlists. Watt also knows a thing or two about soul and hip-hop as he's worked with the likes of Talib Kweli, Joey Bada$$ and DJ Premier. Based on how natural his latest single flows, we can only imagine how fluid the rest of the album is. We won't have to wait too much longer to find out. According to his SoundCloud, he'll be dropping singles left and right until LIFETRONICS reveals itself on February 12th.
