Though we’re here for any time Little Dragon releases an album, them announcing Nabuma Rubberband with the sonic behemoth “Klapp Klapp” whipped us into a frenzy. The group once again delivered on their promise with the album, an R&B-tinged romp that continued their pushing of boundaries while channeling some of their influences, including a few unexpected nods to ‘90s era Janet Jackson (“Mirror, “Cat Rider,” “Pink Cloud”). From “Paris” to “Nabuma Rubberband” and “Pretty Girls” to “Killing Me,” Nabuma Rubberband is yet another amazing musical journey from one of Sweden’s best musical exports. -- D-Money
