Lion Babe Lion Babe EP [Review][Amazon][iTunes][Google Play]

Lion Babe tantalized us back in 2012 when they burst on the scene with sexy single “Treat Me Like Fire.” But then, just like that, they were gone, leaving us with the musical equivalent of blue balls. Thankfully, they returned in 2014 with their self-titled, four-track EP and proved to be well worth the wait. Led by the fun, Childish Gambino-featuring, Nina Simone-sampling single “Jump Hi,” Lion Babe delivered on the promise of “Fire” tenfold with tracks like the smolderingly sexy “Jungle Lady,” the cheekily sassy “Don’t Break My Heart” and a too-hot-to-handle reprise of “Fire,” showing that the New York-based duo was finally ready to roar. -- D-Money
