Late last year, Miguel Migs quietly dropped his latest album Dim Division. But though the album's release was relatively quiet, nothing was quiet about the songs it contained, as they were made to make us put a hurt on the dance floor. One of the standouts of the set was the Meshell Ndegeocello-featuring "What Do You Want." The warm, ambient and funky cut was without a doubt yet another stunner from the frequent collaborators.
Now a single, the track gets a slightly darker remix that takes it even further into club territory. The Migs Salted Vocal Mix strips back Meshell's vocal a bit, making it slightly more raspy sounding, and adds tinny cymbals into the mix. What results is a shifting groove that's sure to get house heads back on their feet for another go 'round. There are also several other remixes of the track that take it to different places that are available to listen to on label Soul Heaven's SoundCloud profile.
