After giving us EPs and singles, singer/songwriter Stacy Barthe is finally ready to bring us a full album with her upcoming set BEcoming. The singer gave us a sneak preview of the project when she released a sampler over the holidays and dropped her cover of Anita Baker's "Angel" in our laps. And as the release date of BEcoming comes closer, Stacy is now giving us the full version of the Common-featuring track "Live For Today."

The track, which incorporates a bit of Sergio Mendes' "Mas Que Nada," is an uplifting track which features a bit of island flair. A warm, slick bass line joins echoing drums and piano flourishes as Stacy sings out the motivational chorus, "Only you can do it, live for today / and pray for another." Meanwhile, Common drops another meaningful hot 16, letting listeners know that he's "staying steady on the grind" in the pursuit of his dreams. All the elements here come together to make a pretty good, if not memorable, track that's sure to draw more people to the emerging songstress.

You can take a listen to the reggae-tinged aspirational track right here. Be on the lookout for Stacy's BEcoming, which is set to arrive in stores on March 3rd.
