With his sixth studio album on the way and his ex-fiancé having aired their dirty laundry on VH1’s Atlanta Exes show this past year, Ne-Yo is back on the prowl and looking for a lady to lighten his load. “Make It Easy” is the latest single off of his forthcoming Non-Fiction album, and this sweet number has him listing off what he needs his next woman to do in order for things to work out. According to the lyrics here, this GRAMMY Award-winning crooner is looking to wine and dine you, but first you must be willing to deal with his morning breath and all of the not so glamorous behind the scenes moments in his life. Is that too much to ask?
Having already heard “Money Can’t Buy,” “She Knows,” “Time of Our Lives,” “Coming With You,” “Religious,” and now “Make It Easy,” it sounds like we just may be getting a decent mix of what Ne-Yo has offered in the past. Some moments I can deal with, some I cannot. But I am absolutely looking forward to his return and the album Non-Fiction, which will be officially released on January 27th.
