Morris Day & The Haim Make 'Jungle Love' On 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'

Morris Day and the Haim Jimmy Kimmel

Though most people hate Mondays, Jimmy Kimmel might have given music lovers a reason to look forward to them this month. Every Monday this month, his nightly show, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, will feature "Mash Up Mondays," featuring some of your favorite artists coming together to perform classic songs. Last week saw rockers Weezer and ZZ Top form Wee-Z Top and this week's edition saw funksters Morris Day and The Time merging with pop trio Haim to become Morris Day and the Haim.

As crazy as that combination sounds, Morris Day and The Time and Haim actually worked together pretty well as they performed The Time classic "Jungle Love." That's mostly because they didn't change up the song's formula too much. Morris, dressed in a mustard yellow suit, gators and an ascot, turned on the charm as he sang lead while the ladies of Haim eagerly took over backing vocal duties, providing "oh-ee-oh-ee-ohs" and smooth dance moves (Haim member Este even got to do Morris' signature dance).

While this was one of the more unusual pairings, "Mash Up Mondays" on Kimmel will definitely be interesting to watch. Next week's line up will find Aloe Blacc and Blackstreet teaming up to become, you guessed it, "Aloe Blaccstreet." While we wait to see how epic that'll turn out to be, feast your eyes and ears on Morris Day and the Haim right here.
