When we got the news that crooner Eric Benét was bringing soul and R&B back to the forefront with his monthly showcase, "Eric Benét & Friends," we were more than excited. Held at the Conga Room in Los Angeles, the showcase launched March 3rd with R&B Divas' Faith Evans and Angie Stone.
With Eric landing so much top-notch talent for the monthly residency, we can only imagine who else will grace the stage in the coming months. But no need to speculate on that while we have such a talented line-up already scheduled for the next concert in the showcase. He's upping the ante on April 3rd with a new line-up featuring CeeLo Green, Goapele, Angie Fisher and V. Bozeman (Empire) and resident host, comedian Chris Spencer (BET’s Real Husbands of Hollywood). Backed by a live band, every artist will get a chance to flex their vocals and remind the music industry what the game's been missing.
