Los Angeles-bred singer/rapper Luke Christopher is on a mission in the visuals for his up-tempo track, "Ms. Holy Water." While he may be fairly new to the scene, he's not new to wooing the ladies, which he does effortlessly during the search for his dream girl. The 21-year-old is a producer, singer, songwriter and rapper and exhibits just about all of his traits in the song and video.
Directed by Kevin Lin, the video is one of the cutest we've seen in a while, and features a one-shot approach that follows Luke and his background suited and booted singers in a colorful field filled with interesting potential baes for him to choose from.With funky footwork provided by Luke and his posse and animated visuals including text messages and emojis, the video is worth watching from beginning to end. The song itself is catchy as Luke effortlessly flows from singing to rapping on the age-appropriate track.
With "Ms. Holy Water" Luke is not unnecessarily bumping and grinding his way into our psyche, and that is entirely refreshing. This innocent ditty, despite the random use of the n-word on the chorus, can join our playlists any day.
