Kimberly Nichole is continuing to shine on this season of NBC’s The Voice. She initially wooed the judges with her audition song “Nutbush City Limits” and blew them away once again with her take on “What’s Up” during the initial round of live playoffs, and now she’s back for more. As the talented cast of the top 12 vocalists took to the stage this week to highlight their growth, Kimberly kicked it up several notches with a fiery performance of The Animals’ “House of the Rising Sun.”
Wrapped in an extravagant garment from Michael Costello’s collection, the rock ballerina put a great amount of stank on an old folk classic as she continues to show the world what we’ve known about her for years. “Mother tell your children not to do what I have done,” she growled and wailed, as she stomped across the stage. By the time she got finished with this number, the audience and judge panel were greeting her with a well-deserved standing ovation. Continue to show our girl support by downloading her take on "House of the Rising Sun" off of iTunes now and by voting for her each week that she graces the stage with her killer vocals.
