Friends, family and fans of Amy Winehouse get another chance to celebrate the life of the fallen soul songstress as the documentary about her life is hitting screens this coming July. We reminisced on her short but incredible discography just a few months back when the Amy teaser was released, but now there is a full-length trailer available and we’re amazed yet again as the story of Winehouse’s rise is retold through rare interviews, performances and studio sessions.
“She was so utterly authentic,” a voice says as the trailer opens. This film will seemingly be highlighting all of the things that we loved most about the “Stronger Than Me” singer, but unfortunately we also know where the story ends and will have to relive it again. Along with this trailer comes the announcement that along with being released in the UK on July 23rd, Amy is scheduled to hit theaters in the United States on July 3rd.
