Lipstick Gypsy's 'Infatuation' Plays Out On Screen

lipstick-gypsy-john-thomas-infatuation-music-video-stillWell folks, summer is officially over. And while the autumnal equinox signals the arrival of longer nights and cooler temperatures, it also serves unofficial notice that cuffing season (ugh...is this still a term??) will soon be upon us. Thankfully, Lipstick Gypsy's debut "Infatuation" is the perfect anthem to send us grooving into fall, accompanied by a video that will titillate committed couples and seasonal lovers alike.

Lead singer John Thomas and his lovely leading lady are clearly not camera-shy, appearing in various states of undress and wasting no time heating up the screen. Meanwhile, producer Chris Liggio is having a private party of his own, getting freaky in the stairwell with his lady. With passionate scenes of touching and kissing, not to mention shattering some dishes in the process, the Constellation Jones-directed video might as well be called "Lust." Not that we're complaining. At all.

Backed by music whiz SaLaAM ReMi, the duo started out as a one-time collaboration. But their chemistry was so good, they knew they had to keep it going. John is a talented singer/songwriter, and Chris is no stranger to the industry, having worked with artists like Jay Z, Mary J. Blige and Musiq Soulchild. Now signed to Epic Records (by CEO, L.A. Reid himself), John revealed to BET.com that they intend to penetrate our airwaves "with sounds that everyone can vibe to."  After blessing us with an infectious groove like this one, we'd say they're definitely on the right track.

After you check out the video below, go purchase the single then follow Lipstick Gypsy on social media for updates on their debut project.
