Washington, D.C. has been pulling in a lot of good shows lately, and this weekend's upcoming concert schedule is a testament to that. Bookending this weekend's roster of shows happening across the DMV are two can't miss events at the Howard Theatre.
Legendary UK act Loose Ends is returning to the Howard with lead singer Jane Eugene leading this British invasion on Friday, November 20th. Eugene has retooled the band's lineup with a few new faces, but that Loose Ends sounds remains in tact. When they perform the group's classic tracks such as "Hanging on a String (Contemplating)" or "Slow Down" there won't be one person left seated in the audience. Seeing Loose Ends featuring Jane Eugene in concert will be a nostalgic trip back into R&B's '80s heydays. Purchase tickets from the Howard Theatre or Ticketmaster or enter our giveaway to win a pair.
Coming through the Howard Theatre on Sunday, November 22nd is a more recent artist but just as dope with Macy Gray scheduled to perform. The eclectic artist will be there in all her glory to share her alternative pop/R&B sounds with all who come out to see her. In addition to Macy in concert, four-man band Valise will open the show. Tickets for this show are on sale at the Howard box office or Ticketmaster.
