Zendaya Takes Us To 'Neverland'

Young star Zendaya has become a force to be reckoned with. A true triple threat in a world where that kind of performer has become increasingly rare, the 19-year-old has made a name for herself and even recently snagged a coveted contract to be the next face of COVERGIRL cosmetics. But if you doubt the budding starlet's talents, she recently released a video for "Neverland," her contribution to Finding Neverland The Album, which shows her showing of all her skills to great effect.

The clip opens with Zendaya sporting a decidedly street look as she walks down a dark alley. When she gets to the theater door she intends to enter, she discovers that it's been locked. Not to worry, though, as Bryan Cranston (of Breaking Bad fame) is there to play a mysterious gentleman who helps her out, magically unlocking the door so that she can "work some stuff out" on the stage, and then disappears before she can thank him. On the stage, Z begins singing the heart-string-tugging song of hope. She's soon joined by a troupe of dancers who join her in a routine co-choreographed by Dancing with The Stars' resident hot stepper Maksim Chmerkovskiy. After she leaves it all on the stage, we're back to reality and the mysterious Mr. Cranston, who applauds her and gives her a bit of advice ("In order to succeed in this business, you need a hook.") before vanishing once again to end the video.

Zendaya's a busy girl these days. She's not only a COVERGIRL, but she's also prepping her sophomore album and starring in Disney Channel show KC Undercover. Sheesh. While our girl Z continues to make moves, you can see the magic of the video for "Neverland" unfold when you press play and pick up the companion album to the Broadway play on iTunes now.
