James Fauntleroy Wants To Make You 'Feel' Good

James Fauntleroy is a pretty elusive cat. The singer-songwriter pretty much releases music when he feels like it and then disappears into a mysterious cloud of smoke. But as of late, Mr. Fauntleroy has been damn-near prolific (at least for him), dropping new jam after new jam after new jam in recent months. He keeps up the momentum with yet another new joint that he's dubbed "Feel."

"Feel" is a sensual little number on which James lays out a bedroom scene over a synth grooves made even more enticing by the cooing harmonies on the chorus. However, it's not a typical bedroom banger by any stretch. Yes, there is an underlying slow groove spurred on by a thick bass line, but things speed up considerably on the verse thanks to hyper-kinetic programmed drums propelling the rhythm forward, only to slow things down again on the woozy chorus. Lyrically, though, James just wants to make his lady feel good. After commanding her to strip down, he gets to business, offering to massage the stress of the day away before getting busy, with James cleverly quipping, "I heard your body call, and I'm just calling it back." Well then.

Of course, as it usually is with James, this release appears to be a loosie and no full-length project has been announced (...yet). But hey, we'll take any new feel we can get from the talented Mr. Fauntleroy. Get ready to get in the mood when you check out "Feel" below.
