Saul Williams, Lizzo, The Suffers, Michael Kiwanuka & More Set For AFROPUNK Paris

AFROPUNK-Paris-Lineup-Announcement

While Brooklyn will always be the home of the AFROPUNK Music Festival, last year saw the festival and its brand make a push to go international. The festival made its rounds in Chicago and scheduled dates in Atlanta (although that concert was unfortunately canceled due to inclement weather) and even made its debut in Paris. Now, after the inaugural Paris dates last March, the festival is set to make a return to the City of Lights this summer for a reprise, and they're bringing quite the lineup in tow.

Set to take over Paris' Trianon once again, AFROPUNK Paris will be bringing an eclectic mix of established stars, current industry staples and emerging talent to the stage on Saturday, June 4th and Sunday, June 5th. Saul Williams and Morcheeba's Skye and Ross will topline the festival. They'll be joined by Michael Kiwanuka, Angel Haze, Cakes Da Killa, The Suffers, Carving, Lizzo, Samm Henshaw, Karol Conka, Féfé, The OBGM's and Ghost Nebula. In addition to the awesome lineup and what are sure to be killer performances, AFROPUNK Paris will also be following in the steps of its Brooklyn cousin with the AFROPUNK Fancy Dress Ball on Friday, June 3rd (performers for the event are still TBD) as well as AFROPUNK After Dark, which guarantees intimate pop-up performances and celebrity DJ sets around Paris after the festival itself has died down.

It looks like the City of Lights will be lit come June. If you're trying to be in the number, you can score early bird tickets to the events and find out more information here.
