Lucious and Harper are having a romantic or something lunch when Cookie rolls in to disturb their groove. Harper quickly loses her appetite but tells Lucious that she'll finish her dessert later -- at his house. Bloop! She traipses out and Hakeem saunters in to have some words with his father who he confronts about threatening to kill Anika. Hakeem tells Lucious that he bet not touch a hair on her head or he won't see him or his grandson ever again before leaving.

Andre is practicing his Easter speech about being bipolar with Rhonda, and she gives him some tips on how to improve it. Together they plot and plan how Lucious is going to come around and how Andre'll be second in line from the top after the dust settles. Don't stop dreaming, y'all.

Cookie goes to pay Anika a visit at her house and arrives to an open door. She enters and calls out for her but no one answers. As Cookie cautiously walks in, she bumps into the quietest group of paramedics we've ever seen who are rolling Anika out on a stretcher. Cookie asks what's going on and apparently there's something going on with the baby. Say no more, she jumps into the ambulance to go with Anika. On the way to the hospital, Cookie helps to calm her down when she realizes that she's having a panic attack.

Lucious and Harper reunite in an empty Leviticus to pick up where they left off earlier. They finish their cocktails, and Lucious is ready to smack it, flip it and rub it down. He pushes her down on the couch, she slaps him and they choke each other in some rough foreplay that has them both turned on. She's about to free willy, and Cookie calls Lucious on his celly. He doesn't pick up the call, but he does stop the action. Harper is about sick of Cookie and lets Lucious know as much. He pulls her card and tells her that it would behoove her to keep Cookie's name outta her mouth and dismisses her.

In other relationship news, Hakeem invites Laura over to talk. He assures her that despite Anika carrying his seed that he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. Boo Boo will be his baby mama and Laura will be his wife -- problem solved! Not so fast, though. Laura gives him his ring back and leaves. Ouch. Hak checks his phone to find hella messages telling him to get to the hospital. At the hospital, Hakeem and Cookie are confronted by Anika's mom (serving Diahann Carroll Dynasty tease) who is not there for their Lyon family foolery. She reluctantly tells Hakeem what room Anika is in and they all go there to comfort her. Everything is fine until Cookie announces that Lucious is on his way. When Lucious arrives, Hakeem is waiting for his father in order to have a little chit chat. Lucious is proud that Hakeem has manned up and decides to stand down and provide for his grandchild, son and his baby mama instead of killing her. Hakeem goes back to check on Anika and Cookie comes out to find out why Lucious left "mophead" behind. Lu admits that Harper didn't do it for him and low-key flirts with Cookie. She isn't having it, but she is interested in scooping Harper's little story by getting her ex-husband a feature in the trade mags, which he is down like four flats for.

Back at Empire Entertainment, it's time for Lucious and Andre's event and the elder Lyon is trying to woo the board members. Jamal overhears Lucious throwing shade at him and is not a happy camper. They exchange some heated conversation before Jamal stomps off. Harper stomps in and goes off on Lucious for scooping her story, but he smiles in her face and acts like he doesn't know what she's talking about. Two can play that shady game, though. Harper slides over to Andre and presents him with an envelope full of photographs -- of the group home where his grandmother is! Harper leaves him with that revelation that his granny is alive and well, and he's shook.

Laura surprises Hakeem at the hospital while he holds a bedside vigil for Anika. Lucious reached out to her and spoke some sense into her to give his son another chance, which she does. With Anika asleep in the background, Hakeem slips the engagement ring on Laura's finger. The wedding's back on!

At the Empire function, Lucious and Cookie are together on stage while he makes a speech. Harper is somehow still there to cause some trouble and asks where the Lyon boys are if they're such a tight family. Seconds later, Thirsty and Lucious' bodyguard escort her out. Welp, it was nice knowing you (not really), Harper!

After storming out of the Empire party, Jamal decides to not waste his good outfit and goes back to the spot he kicked it with Michael earlier that week. He gets there and there's a line down the block that Freda Gatz is even waiting in. Fantastic Negrito is once again performing, and it's lit inside. He invites Jamal back up to sing, and he hits us with an oldie but remixed goodie with the song "Good Enough (Negrito Remix)."

Two board members are so impressed with the money that Lucious and Cookie have raised for the National Alliance for Bipolar Disorder and the idea of a Lyon family performance at the ASAs that they let the two exes know that they have them in mind to be co-CEOs. Lucious' face cracks and Cookie stammers at the thought. Lucious fixes his face, though, and lies through his teeth that it's a fantastic idea and gives her a big old hug. He tells her he's got her back, but the crazy, deranged look in his eyes tells otherwise.
