After leaving us hanging over two years ago, Usher is making up for lost time by giving us more of him than we've had in a while. Her recently dropped not one, but two new singles — "No Limit" and "Crash" — last week. And just when we thought that was it, Usher goes ahead and drops the video for "Crash" to make it really real.
Much like he did with the clip for "Good Kisser" back in 2014, "Crash" finds Usher exercising minalism. He and a group of dancers, all clad in black, dance along to the sentimental pop/R&B single. However, the similarities end there. For one, "Crash" is less a lascivious double entendre and more a plea to keep holding on to a love that may be too far gone. Because of this, Usher does his best to emote the song's sentiment, even throwing in a few tears as he stares solemnly at the camera. Secondly, the video employs a rather large video screen that plays larger-than-life images of a strikingly beautiful woman, helping us to understand why Ursh might just be a little verklempt.
You can take a look at "Crash" right here. Usher's upcoming album Flawed is set to arrive later this year.
