The holiday weekend is upon us, promising sunny skies and smoking grills. But if your looking to add some sizzle to your playlist, the latest remix by our boy Full Crate will surely get the job done. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Justin Timberlake's "SexyBack," the Dutch producer decided to put his own spin on the Timbaland-produced stunner with a little help from singer/dancer/model Melissa Kanza.
Like the original, Full Crate's "Sexy Back" rework is a club-ready jam. With most of the lyrical content removed, the icy production has full sway to entice you to the dance floor. The futuristic blips, buzzing synth and electro-funk undercurrent give it an air of familiarity. But intermittent breakdowns (slow-jam style) led by the hypnotic siren call of Ms. Kanza's sultry vocals make it feel shiny and new.
