We might've christened last month "Erictober," but that doesn't mean that we're done covering the R&B heartthrob that is Eric Benét. The crooner, who recently talked with us about his life and enduring career, has dominated our playlists with his self-titled album and it doesn't look like his reign will let up anytime soon, especially with the release of the video for his sexually charged single, "Insane."
Rather than a straightforward clip featuring the Mr. Benét charming his way into the pants of some pretty young thing, Eric shirks the usual expectations by focusing on a couple overdue for some alone time. When his wifey (played by actress Margot Bingham) walks in the door with her arms full of groceries, Eric informs her that the kids are at her sister's and they have the place to themselves. However, their sexy night doesn't go as planned — including accidental spills, falls, surprises and phone calls from their children disturbing their groove. But, just in case you were worried that you weren't going to get any of the more seductive side of Eric, the awkward parts are paired with footage of the barefoot crooner standing in a shallow pool of water as he gives his best smoldering, sensual looks to the camera.
