As our nation prepares to celebrate Thanksgiving next week, dinner plans are a serious priority for many folks. And while many of us are looking forward to an "itis "-inducing feast worthy of the #unameitchallenge hashtag, let's not forget that we have lots of other things to be thankful for as well. Like music. New music, more specifically. So you can imagine our excitement now that Bounce-Worthy fave Marie Dahlstrom has announced a November 25th release date for her long-teased solo follow-up to 2013's Gloom. The multi-talented Dane is in good company, with A Tribe Called Quest, Bruno Mars, Common, Emeli Sandé, DΔWN, Joe and a posthumous Prince compilation also dropping this month. Like we said, there is lots to be thankful for. And with her current track record, we suspect the forthcoming project will easily make the cut for the year-end edition of our Hot 16 series.

But the album isn't the only newness that she'll be sharing this month. Shortly after the album announcement, she unveiled the visuals for her current single "Mine." It was love at first listen when we first heard the shimmery groove, so it's nice to see the video retain the laid-back appeal and '90s R&B vibe felt throughout the song. The impromptu shoot quickly came together after a spontaneous idea before a trip to Japan. Marie explains, "This video was so much fun to make. Keita [McGee] (the choreographer based in Tokyo) had created a routine for 'Look The Other Way' last year, so when I figured I was going on a mini-tour to Japan, I thought it was a good opportunity to work with him and his dancers face to face. We met up with the Australian videographer Matt De Sousa, and filmed the video in the middle of Shibuya in Tokyo at 4 in the morning. I edited the video myself when I got back to London, so this video is a perfect memory of Japan."

Dance along with the easygoing clip below and stay tuned for the new Marie Dahlstrom EP when it drops next week. In the meantime, follow her on social media and get caught up with her latest side project Time of the Month, a podcast series with fellow creatives Emmavie, Ruby Wood, Laura Misch and Carmody.
