Depending on your perspective, Wednesday (otherwise regarded as “hump day”) can be your most loathed and difficult day, or it can be viewed as the day that propels you towards the weekend. The new track from The Eclectic Beings, aptly entitled "Hump Day," provides the perfect soundtrack for that journey, whether you are fighting your way through the week or looking forward to getting your life on the weekend. The instrumental's percussion offers just enough kick to add a little pep to your step during your commute. And while the melody of the light and airy keys won’t distract you from your work, it's sure to transform your attitude and have you humming this tune around the office.

The Los Angeles-based duo -- made up of Steven C. Martin, an accomplished keyboardist, drummer and percussionist and A.J. Boatwright, an acclaimed drummer and DJ -- seek to “provide the world with great, feel-good music,” and we could all use a bit of that.  Their chosen moniker is said to "not only describe who the two are as musicians, and the sound they craft, but also the type of people they incite with their music: diverse, open-minded and optimistic." Well, this is certainly good music to our ears, and “Hump Day” is all of these things and then some. The song not only feels good, but it’s a meticulous blending of different genres that lovers of everything from jazz to house music to electro soul will certainly appreciate.

Add a bit of bounce to your life, brighten up your day and help yourself over the hump by giving the new single from The Eclectic Beings a spin. For more instrumental hotness from the duo, be sure to check out their 2015 LP entitled Elated Thoughts available now on Bandcamp, Amazon or iTunes.
