Since releasing her full-length debut Soul Eyes last summer, Blue Note recording artist and Bounce-Worthy hair crush Kandace Springs has been busy touring the country and performing all over the world. The concerts have certainly helped give the Nashville-bred singer/songwriter/pianist the exposure she deserves. But with no album visuals since "Thought It Would Be Easier," we've kinda missed seeing her on our small screens as well. Thankfully, the new year has brought us a new video for her latest single, "Place to Hide."

The soulful tune is an ode to the bonds of sincere friendship and genuine love. Organ and guitar give added texture to the piano-driven ballad as Ms. Springs' exquisite vocals exude warmth and reassurance, allowing the lyrics to resonate. Filmed by Julie Vastola, the video maintains an intimate feel (at times appearing like an old home movie), capturing Kandace alone at home in her city loft though her mind is clearly with someone else.

There's no need to hide your love for Kandace's talent, so preview the wistful clip below and get lost in the song's beauty. This past weekend, DMV fans were lucky enough to witness her skills firsthand during a free concert courtesy of the Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage series. Scroll down to see her brilliant performance, which includes "Place to Hide" and other favorites from her current catalogue like "Forbidden Fruit," "Love Got In The Way" and "Neither Old Nor Young." Both debuts – the Kandace Springs EP and Soul Eyes – are available through her website or iTunes and Amazon.
