We've been looking for a presidency we can believe in, and it looks like it's finally here courtesy of Eric Bellinger. After releasing Eric B for President: Term 1, fans couldn't get enough, so over the weekend, he released Eric B for President: Term 2. The eight-track EP features collaborations with the likes of Wale, Victoria Monet and Tayla Parx and gives you motivation to go on a tropical getaway with bae.
The EP starts with a less-than-political approach with "Naked in the White House," where Eric finally gets his first lady. "We went from no text back for weeks to who's this FaceTiming me? / You went from no one to 'I'm straight out, I don't wanna hang out' / To walking 'round naked in my house / Naked in the White House," he sings. The entire EP gives you plenty of options to relax to, including the tropical cuts "Make You Mine," "Island" and "Treat Yourself" featuring Wale. "Know / Vibes," "Too Cool / Boujee" and "Coastin" give us more trap soul to groove to as Eric croons over mid-tempo beats. A special mention goes to "Boujee" for its Ginuwine and Aaliyah samples, which will have this one on repeat. He ends the EP with the super sensual "Malibu Nights," where he and Victoria Monet trade verses cooing sweetly to each other.
Term 2 joins the impressive list of EPs -- Eric B for President: Term 1, Eventually and Cuffing Season (Part 2) -- from the singer, songwriter and producer.
