JP Cooper Shares Inspiring Journeys On 'Passport To Home'

Given the viral success of his single "Passport to Home," JP Copper has decided to bless fans with an EP that includes four versions of the soulful track. Clocking in over 3 million streams on Spotify, the original version showcased Cooper’s powerful, unique vocals backed by a thunderous gospel choir. The EP features the original, along with guitar and piano acoustic versions, and one where the choir is the focal point. Each offers a poignant introduction to the international sensation’s sound, which combines alternative, folk, reggae and pop music.

The Manchester, UK native also released a video to accompany the track. We watch as he views a missed call from “home” before embarking on his return. The visual, directed by JJ Augustavo, also features real-life scenarios and resilient characters each with their own struggles and happy endings. It’s all very inspiring and serves as the perfect complement to the already relatable song.

JP has kept very busy lately, touting impressive performances in both New York and Los Angeles during his North American debut. Currently, he’s making his way across the UK with a string of sold out shows, further punctuating the success of “Passport to Home” and his massive hit single "September Song," which has racked up over 152 million Spotify streams and sold over 1.6 million units globally.
