L.A. Reid Accused of Sexual Harassment
When we reported last week about music mogul L.A. Reid's resignation from his chairman position at Epic, we mentioned how sudden it all seemed. Now, we have an inkling as to why. News broke this week that the hitmaker and businessman was forced to resign amid sexual harassment claims. According to the New York Post, a letter was sent by the complainant's lawyer to Sony Music's general counsel saying that Reid "allegedly made inappropriate physical advances toward an assistant at last December’s company holiday party, among other instances" and, even more damning, "asked her to lie down in bed with him and give him a hug while the two were at a hotel while traveling on business," among other claims. While the veracity of these allegations will probably be proven in a court of law, true or not, this isn't a good look for L.A. Reid. #DamnHomie #NotLikeThis
