Solange Writes Letter To Her Teenage Self For 'Teen Vogue'

We don't about know about you, but there are many times when we reflect on our teenage years and say, "If only I had known then what I know now." Teen Vogue cover star Solange is right there with us and has penned a meaningful letter addressed to her teenage self for the mag's music issue. One of the most poignant thoughts she shares comes at the letter's close, where she writes, “There will be pain, there will be doubt there will be beauty, there will be the unknown. There will be so many moments of joy and delight that the whole universe will feel painted in hues of amber and wonder. There will be times you are so sad you can’t lift your head. And there will be times you are so happy that the sensation of life knocks you down. But most importantly, there will be you. A whole, whole lot of it. And you will feel good about who she is and who she is still becoming.” Damn, Solo. That's deep. You can read the letter in full here. #IfOnlyYouKnew
