Another Day, Another R. Kelly Accuser Steps Forward
Just when you thought you couldn’t think any less of R&B singer and child predator R. Kelly, his past provides us with yet another reason to clutch our pearls. Yes, even after the sex tape, that infamous BET interview and the sex cult we just learned about a few weeks ago. The latest? One of his former underage sex partners has come forward to share her experience with the superstar. Jerhonda Pace spoke to Buzzfeed News, who has been gathering all the tea about Kelly, to discuss her experience with the R. She first met an associate of Kelly through MySpace and was groomed to be part of his harem. Like a gangster's wife, she sat at his child pornography trial, supporting the man who she thought loved her. They engaged in a relationship for several months until Kelly thought it prudent to slap, choke and spit on her after he caught her texting a friend. Instead of pressing charges against the singer, Pace secured a settlement by contacting the R. Kelly accuser law firm of choice (that’s not hyperbole, folks). Her claims have been corroborated by legal documents and a lie detector test. Now, Pace is breaking her non-disclosure agreement in hopes of helping other women avoid being “brainwashed” by the star and for her own healing. Kelly and his team of legal eagles have yet to respond. #BringBackOurGirls
