Prince's Sister Is Eager To Unlock His Mythical Musical Vault
It's been more than a year since his Purple Majesty Prince went on to be with the grand creator, and we are no closer to unlocking the doors of his mythical music vault in the basement of Paisley Park. His sister Tyka Nelson has been trying to find the right incantation, or at least business deal, to make its doors go open sesame and make all the original songs, rare grooves and remixes available to his adoring "friends." Unfortunately, Universal and Ms. Nelson couldn't come to an agreement on which songs would be shared with the public. Now the long-time lawyer of the estate has parted ways with the purple legacy, as well. Of the situation, Tyka has said that," We have to preserve everything. So as soon as we can release it, don't worry, we sure will." For now, we'll just have to be happy with the expanded Purple Rain album and anything that might be floating out there on the Internet. #APurplePlaylistDeferred
