Casting News: Chloe x Halle Get 'Grown-Ish,' Issa Rae Lines Up Film Debut
Some of our faves are making big moves on the small and big screens. First up, sister singing duo Chloe x Halle is set to take their acting talents to the small screen with recurring roles on Yara Shahidi's Black-ish spinoff, Grown-ish. The two will play twin track stars that attend college with Yara's character Zoe as she navigates the college life. Meanwhile, our girl Issa Rae is set to make her big screen debut alongside Amandla Stenberg in the upcoming film The Hate You Give. The film, based on the novel of the same name, finds Issa playing April, an activist who helps Amandla's character Starr "find her voice and speak up." We can't wait to see the ladies do their thing when these projects arrive next year. #BlackGirlMagic
