After wrapping up their tour with Dave Chappelle at NYC’s Radio City Music Hall this past August, Bounce-Worthy brothers Christopher and Wesley Lowery, collectively known as Supa Lowery Brothers, recently released their new single “Gimmie Your Love.” The talented twins team up with fellow Philly musician Musiq Soulchild for the sensually smooth track made for romance. Trumpeter and songwriter Christopher adds brilliant punctuation giving the tune its jazz appeal, while drummer/producer Wesley helps to build and quiet the intensity of the seductively soulful track. Musiq adds to the emotion of it all with his signature style and passionate tone pleading for his lover’s all.
“Gimmie Your Love” is said to be a taste of what’s to come from the Supa Lowery Brothers as they gear up to release a full-length album in 2018. After relocating from the city of Brotherly Love, the two have made quite a name for themselves while playing regularly throughout the live soul and jazz scene in Los Angeles. Given that the two stay booked and busy, we are glad to see that they have made the time to record new music and we wait with bated breath to hear more from the prolific pair.
Give “Gimmie Your Love” by the Supa Lowery Brothers and Musiq Soulchild a spin below, and don't be surprised if it gets you into quite a romantic mood. While a full album isn’t expected until next year, we’re hopeful that the Lowery twins will drop a few more gems while we wait. In the meantime, keep up with the gifted duo on their website, and follow them on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
