Cardi B Breaks Chart Records Again & Rocks The BET Hip Hop Awards
Raptress of the moment Cardi B might have turned 25 this week, but that's not the only reason she's celebrating. After being the first solo female rap act to hit No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 since Lauryn Hill with "Bodak Yellow," the student has now outpaced the teacher. "Bodak Yellow" is now the longest-running No. 1 by a solo female rap act, with the song snagging the top spot again for the third week. But Belcalis didn't stop there. She also brought her show to Miami, where she showed up and showed out at BET's Hip Hop Awards, winning Best New Artist, Hustler of the Year and Single of the Year.
