Diddy Wants To Buy The Carolina Panthers – And Folks Are Already Hatin'
Diddy might be known for his lavish lifestyle and uncanny ability to make hits, but he's first and foremost a businessman. So it should come as no surprise that the hip-hop mogul wants to diversify his portfolio once again, taking to social media to announce that he wants to buy the NFL's Carolina Panthers franchise. After announcing that he wants to purchase the team (and that if he bought it he'd sign footballer-turned-activist Colin Kaepernick), basketball player Seth Curry and Kaep himself made it known that they would love to join Puff's ownership group. While most think that's a pretty dope idea, some hatin'-a** news anchors from San Francisco local affiliate KRON4 made snide remarks about Diddy's ownership interest, with reporter Henry Wofford even going as far as to suggest that Diddy looked like he'd been "smokin' blunts and drinkin' 40s" in the video he posted to Instagram (Wofford and his colleague were forced to apologize later). While those haters were hating, Diddy — who is worth $820 million alone — is working on his master plan. #DoItForTheCultureDiddy
