Masters of the boards and fillers of dance floors around the world, Full Crate continues to impress us with his non-stop assault on our eardrums and sneakers. Whether on his own or teaming up with other artists, he knows how to cold rock a party. Full Crate surprised us last year with his EP project with Mar, A Woman. Now the prolific producer has teamed up with Dutch DJ production team The Partysquad and Shabba Rank’s twin sensation nieces Nick & Navi. The final product, the appropriately named"HOT," is a bona fide jam.
“HOT” is a scintillating groove dedicated to feeling yourself. Full Crate and the Party Squad have concocted a dancehall riddim that cannot be denied. But don't sleep on Nick & Navi. The ladies are no slouches. The young ladies give both breathy vocals in the infectious chorus and some tough talk in the verses. Check the lyrics: “Man does not stress me /Boys wanna sex me / Girls try test me / They know they can’t touch me / They see me too reala.” The ladies are letting you know they are not the one or the two and will give you a smooth dutty wine and roll up on you in the same breath. They show and prove this in the island-kissed video, which features them in coordinated outfits while they flaunt their style in colorful Caribbean scenes that are making us in colder climates a bit envious.
