Don't you just love love? At SBHQ, we definitely do, especially when the love is set to music. Perhaps that's why we're all about PJ Morton's song "First Began," the lovely starting track from his GRAMMY-nominated album Gumbo. Well, after getting an eyeful of his lovey-dovey video for the song, we're finding ourselves falling in love with it all over again.
For the video, PJ keeps things simple and sweet. It begins with three celebrity couples — Omari Hardwick and his wife, Jennifer Pfautch; Tamera Mowry and her hubby, Adam Housley; and Sterling K. Brown and his wife, Ryan Michelle Bathe — who tell the story of how their love affairs first began. We then see PJ and his wife sitting at the piano, which is interspersed with images of their mini-mes first falling in love with each other. The tender moments of the video don't stop there though, as we're also shown images of the aforementioned couples involved in loving moments throughout the video's duration. It all concludes with PJ and his wife talking about the genesis of their love before we're shown the couple and their beautiful family.
It's without a doubt one of the most touching videos we've seen in a while. It's also pretty nice that we have this vision of love as Valentine's Day looms around the corner. Pull the one you love close and check out the video for PJ Morton's "First Began" below.
