It's funny how time flies when you're having fun at one of the DMV's most popular venues to see R&B and soul acts, Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club. The concert hall, which was built in 1938 as the Bethesda Theater, is celebrating its 5th anniversary and, of course, they're commemorating the occasion with music. Helping to ring in a new year for BBJ will be Billy Ocean, Britain's biggest Black recording star who had a string of pop hits in the '80s and can still tear a stage up. He'll do just that for two nights of shows on Wednesday, February 28th and Thursday, March 1st. Comedian Joe Clair will be on hand to host and both concerts are guaranteed to be a grand old time.
Make plans to celebrate Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club's 5th anniversary right now by purchasing tickets in-person at the box office or online for either the first or second night. The good folks at BBJ want to spread the love and have given us a pair of tickets for the Wednesday, February 28th show that we're giving away to one lucky DMV Bouncer. If you'd like that to be you, then enter to win these tickets on the next page.
