Lion Babe Has Even More 'Honey Dew' For You To Enjoy

Lion Babe continues teasing us as they keep the details of their upcoming sophomore effort on the QT. Thankfully, they've been pretty generous with singles. So far, we've gotten three from the trio — "Rockets," "Hit The Ceiling" and "Honey Dew." They were also kind enough to gift us with a couple of remixes for each of the initial two offerings. Now it's their third single's turn for the remix treatment and they do it in style with help from OG Ron C and Seven Davis Jr.

If you're familiar with OG Ron C, then you already know his aesthetic. True to form, he delivers a chopped and screwed version of "Honey Dew" that's perfect for vibin' out in Houston or any other locale of your choice. With the slowed vocals and intricately placed chops, the jam feel perfect for a rainy day listening session as it's even more laidback and inviting than before. Don't get too relaxed though, as Seven Davis Jr.'s remix amps up the groove. The BPMs soar as he gives "Honey Dew" a house sheen that bumps and grooves all the way to the dance floor. As hi-hats sound off at a breakneck pace, Jillian Hevey's subdued vocal seems to float above the production like an ethereal cloud of joy.

Each take on the track isn't what we expected as far as remixes go, but we're definitely jamming them pretty hard anyway. Get into these two "Honey Dew" remixed below and be on the lookout for more from Lion Babe in the coming months.
