Snoop Dogg & Charlie Wilson Praise The Lord For Giving Us 'One More Day'

When we got the news that Snoop Dogg would be making a gospel album, to say we were surprised was an understatement. However, what didn’t surprise us is that “First name Charlie / Last name Wilson” would be making an appearance on the project. The Gap Band alum and OG singer has made numerous records with Snoop and has delivered a few good hymns to thump on our way to Sunday service.

On their collaboration entitled “One More Day,” Charlie Wilson gives the praises to the Lord for giving him another day to make things right, another day of hope and light. The production on the track gives you a little bit of G-Funk along with some old time ‘ligion live instrumentation. The only thing missing on the track? Snoop! D-O-Double Gizzle doesn’t even do any Kirk Franklin adlibs. But we’re not complaining. Mr. Charlie is more than capable of leading praise and worship on his own.

“One More Day” will appear on Snoop Dogg’s double (yes! DOUBLE!) gospel album, Bible of Love. The 32-track set will feature Tye Tribbet, The Clark Sisters, Faith Evans, Rance Allen, B. Slade and more. Due March 16th, the project will be out just in time to jazz up your Easter Sunday.
