Q-Tip To Teach Course At New York University

Q-Tip is joining the ranks of the hip-hop professors. The A Tribe Called Quest frontman has signed on to teach a course at New York University. He will team with journalist Ashley Kahn for a course that will “explore the underappreciated connections between jazz and hip-hop and combines historical and social perspectives with the opportunity to produce original music at the nexus of the two genres.” The seven-class will start this fall semester on September 5th. #EnrollNow
