Trackademicks Taps YMTK & 1-O.A.K. To Get Summer Party Season Started With 'Grab Somebody'

This weekend marks Memorial Day in the US. That means, though it's still technically spring, we are just days away from the unofficial start of Summer '18. And, of course, with summer vibes come summer jams. Though there have been some early entries, we can expect to see more than a few arrivals come as the weather heats up, like this one from Cali-based producer and artist Trackademicks. He's enlisted fellow Bay Area representers YMTK and 1-O.A.K. for his party-starting house track "Grab Somebody," which we're sure you'll be hearing at more than a few functions over the next few months.

"Grab Somebody" is a smooth, synth-fueled dance floor-filler anchored by Trackademicks' unique production vision. Utilizing chord stabs, ambient synths and bumping programmed drums, he sets up the perfect party groove as he urges everyone to grab a partner and cut up on the dance floor. YMTK and 1-O.A.K. are definitely game, with each contributing his own verse letting us know exactly how they like to party. YMTK sings about meeting a pretty young thing after getting lit off the Henny and eventually catching a Lyft back to her place to keep things going after hours. 1-O.A.K., meanwhile, is on a hunt for the sexy girls at the party to work up a sweat with before starting another lituation soon after. But don't worry, the party doesn't stop after the verses, as Trackademicks keeps the smokin' groove going just to make sure you sweat out your blowout before the song closes out.

If you're planning any type of party this summer, we highly recommend adding this into the mix. Take a listen to "Grab Somebody" below to hear what we mean.
