Tinashe Is Ready To Flex On 'Throw A Fit'

Is Tinashe dropping a second album this year or nah? The "2 On" singer has been playing rather coy about Nashe and whether or not it's coming soon. What she hasn't been shy about, though, is dropping singles. She offered up surprise single "Like I Used To" about two weeks ago, and she's already back to give us more with new joint "Throw A Fit."

She's laced with another Hitmaka production on the track, this time with something more akin to the trap happy sound of current hip-hop. Taking advantage of the opportunity, our girl Nashe gets swaggy over the sparse backdrop of hi-hats, claps, kick drums and the occasional synth note or two. She talks her ish on the verses, spitting lines like, "Hey, brand new coupe, I'm backing out / Spend that s**t, I buy you out / Ay, p****y wet all by herself / And if he drown, I ain't gon' help." Umm...well alright. She goes on to play an overconfident Veruca Salt on the chorus, letting it be known that, "I'm the s**t / I know I'm the s**t / Yeah, I'm super lit / If you don't buy me what I want / I'mma throw a fit."

While this one isn't necessarily a lyrical masterpiece, we can see the ratchet and ratchet-adjacent folks alike getting their lives to it in the club. Let us know if you're in that number when you give the track a spin.
