It goes without saying that DAWN is a force and talent to be reckoned with. However, sometimes we forget just how much talent this woman has while getting wrapped up in the production and techniques that surround it. Lucky for us, the singer-songwriter recently stopped by the NPR offices to participate in their Tiny Desk Concert series and show us what she can do with stripped-down versions of three of her songs.

Decked out in a shimmery outfit, she and her two backing vocalists Kene Alexander and Chaynler Stewart gave the Tiny Desk audience an unforgettable show. She started with her recent track "WAVES," a female empowerment anthem with the message to get your money up. The ladies' voices sounded absolutely amazing together, with the harmonies feeling as if they were on record and not live in person. They continued showing out with "Vines," a fan favorite interlude from her most recent album Redemption that is even more transfixing in this live iteration. DAWN took a minute to give Tiny Desk a bit of praise and remark on life as an indie artist before ending the set with the inspirational and upbeat track "Lazarus." With the biblical reference in its title and gospel undertones, the song was a perfect benediction to what was surely a spiritual experience.

Get into DAWN's Tiny Desk debut below and, if you weren't already, prepare to become a fan.
