Tyler, The Creator Takes To The Sea In 'See You Again'

Tyler, The Creator is perhaps one of the most imaginative rappers of his generation, something he's been proving since his arrival on the scene. Though we haven't always understood all of his moves, he definitely caught our attention with last year's Scum F**k Flower Boy. More than a year after the album's release, he finally drops a video for the track "See You Again" — a song he recently performed for NPR Music's Tiny Desk Concert series — which was the last single released from the album.

Tyler takes us to the sea for the visual, which starts on a naval ship and features Tyler and homie A$AP Rocky as naval officers going through the day-to-day that seamen often experience after shipping off. Of course, Tyler's feeling about lonely and missing bae, prompting him to sing the sentimental track for anyone willing to listen. We then zoom miles away from a porthole on the ship to see the song's featured guest Kali Uchis sitting in a lifeboat all slickered up to sing the chorus. Those aren't the only interesting moments we get here, though. Tyler's solo performance in front of marching cadets is worth mentioning, as is the unexpected shadow scene involving a trumpeter and well-timed lighting.

Just as we're getting used to things, the video switches up again and Tyler is suddenly tiptoeing through the woods in a bedsheet with cutout eyes as his song "Where This Flower Blooms" plays. His ghostly visage is still for a moment while we hear Frank Ocean's bridge before the sheet is yanked away to reveal a swarm of bees before the screen fades to black.

This is sadly one of only two videos released from the project but, hopefully, he'll go back and film another before the album cycle is completely done. In case he doesn't, savor the zany clip for "See You Again" below.
