Janelle Monáe Lands Role In Gloria Steinem Biopic

While she took most of 2018 to focus on her music, our favorite dirty computer Janelle Monáe has been racking up the roles in Hollywood. She's currently part of the ensemble cast of dolls in Welcome To Marwen and has announced several high profile parts in upcoming films, including an upcoming Harriet Tubman biopic. She's also set to play another real-life character in a film about feminist icon Gloria Steinem. Janelle will portray Dorothy Pittman Hughes, who co-founded Ms. Magazine alongside Steinem in the '70s. The film will also star Julianne Moore and Alicia Vikander, who play Steinem at different stages in her life. We already know our girl Jane is gonna kill this role. #JanelleOnFilm
