Drake Is Spotify's Most-Streamed Artist Of 2018
Honestly, at this point Drake should be tired of all the streaming milestones he's hitting. Since his recent album Scorpion broke streaming records on Spotify and they recently announced he was their most streamed artist of all time, it should come as no surprise that he takes the 2018 crown as the most-streamed artist of the year. Champagne Papi netted 8.2 billion (with a b) Spotify streams this year, with the aforementioned Scorpion and his single "God's Plan" taking the top honors in their respective categories ("God's Plan" was streamed 1 billion times on its own). Drake wasn't the only artist making an impact, though. Ariana Grande was the service's most-streamed female artist, netting 48 million monthly listeners. Sheesh.
